JOEL LAVENTURE
FOUNDER AND MANAGING DIRECTOR
Joel Laventure has over 28 years experience in the General Insurance industry. In addition to Australia, Joel has lived and worked in insurance markets all over the globe, including Asia, North America, and Europe.
Joel holds an MBA (Insurance) and is a Fellow and Risk Management Advisory Board Member of ANZIIF (Australian & New Zealand Institute of Insurance & Finance), two of the highest available insurance industry qualifications in Australia and New Zealand. Prior to establishing iO2, Joel has held senior management and executive positions with some of the largest global insurers worldwide, including Allianz, Chubb, ACE, and QBE.
When not at iO2 or travelling for work, Joel loves spending time at home with his family exploring the beautiful Sunshine Coast. Joel enjoys time on the water, kayaking, stand-up paddleboarding, and fishing.
ALISA LAVENTURE
GENERAL MANAGER
Alisa Laventure brings 20 years of Project, Facilities and Operational Management experience across a broad range of industries. Alisa’s background is diverse and exciting, acquiring new skills including becoming a Tier 1 (RG146) accredited Insurance Broker. Some of the work Alisa is most proud of is helping the ARCBS (Australian Red Cross Blood Services) in building new blood donation clinics. As Facilities Manager at EML (Employers Mutual Limited) Alisa managed all new office operations involving the successful transition of staff from Allianz, CGU, Vero and QBE. The role Alisa was most passionate about was Operations Manager for Complete Healthcare International (CHI) and Body with Soul (BWS) combined health clinic, leading the strategic and marketing development effort for the CHI and BWS management team.
When not working at iO2 Alisa loves spending time with her family, especially her two young daughters, Neve and Rose. Originally from Ireland, then living in New York and Singapore, Alisa is very happy to call Noosa home.
JOHN HOLLMAN
DIRECTOR
John has over 29 years of commercial insurance experience, having worked in the Sydney insurance market with a global Insurer for 12 years and a large independent broker for over 13 years. John’s most recent work has been with an insurance brokerage based in South East Queensland. John brings a wealth of commercial broking knowledge and expertise to the iO2 team, in a wide range of industries and niche markets, that enable him to place tailored insurance solutions for his customers. John is a true insurance professional with a Diploma of Financial Services (Insurance Broking) qualification, as well as holding an ANZIIF Senior Associate, Certified Insurance Professional and NIBA Qualified Practicing Insurance Broker (QPIB) memberships. John has made it his mission to provide excellence in servicing his customers and promoting the highest possible standards across the Insurance industry.
Originally studying horticulture in Sydney, John is passionate about the environment and has made the beautiful Sunshine Coast home.
